Whoaman, within the last hour I have made huge edits to the poems. My activity the past couple of days has been epic.

Such is the result of beginning to take the art a little more seriously.

I've always felt a little shy and hesitant to refer to, well, anything that comes out of my head as art, much less anything I write, and I know there are people who don't consider literature art. Oscar Wilde wasn't one of them, but I think perhaps he took it a bit far when he stated his belief that literature is the highest form of art.
I'm actually pretty sure that garbage sculptures are the very highest form of art, followed closely by macaroni happy faces on construction paper.

Anyway, I've come to the decision that I think I write well so I'm going to write a little ... maybe not more often so much as with a lot more quality and effort and heart and cleverness, the last of which rarely if ever makes an appearance in the actual body of the piece instead of just the title.
